Tokyo Japan, April 11, 2013- New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. (New JRC) has introduced to the market the NJW1933, 600mA, 500kHz, step-down switching regulator in SOT-23 package, well suitable for power supplies for car accessory application and industrial use.
The NJW1933 is a step-down switching regulator with a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 40V and built-in MOSFET. It has a phase compensation circuit employing current mode control that provides a step-down converter with a few and tiny external parts.
Further, a high operating frequency of 500kHz allows engineers to use tiny inductor, and an internal optimized phase compensation circuit allows them to use multi layer ceramic capacitors. The NJW1933 is available in a tiny 6-lead SOT-23. It provides space saving of boards and downsizing of various power supply units with tiny package, tiny inductor and ceramic capacitor.
The internal phase compensation circuit employing the current mode control provides the step-down converter with a few extarenal parts.
