The impact from The 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake

We would like to express our deepest condolences and sympathy to the victims of The 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami on 11th March.

We promptly assessed the impact after the Earthquake and are currently conducting investigations of the facilities and attempting to resume operations with prior consideration to ensure the safety of our employees. As of March 17, the impact and measures against it are as follows.

Status of damage

Actual estimate of the damage is yet to be confirmed at this time. In case the significant effect on the company's financial status is to be expected, we will disclose the related information timely.

There are no injuries at any offices, works and group companies.

The building is little damaged and the electricity supply and the communication equipment are restored. We are preparing to reopen the office with prior consideration to ensure the safety of our employees.
Kawagoe Works
(Fujimino City, Saitama-Pref)
Production Lines of Semiconductor Devices
There is little damage and we are making preparations to restart operations now, but if power cannot be obtained due to planned power outrage or other reasons, it will be some time before the restoration can be completed.

Production Lines of other products
Others are normally being operated.

Building and other Facilities
There is little damage.
