What is an operating ambient temperature listed in absolute maximum ratings?

Disclaimer

In the conventional general knowledge, an operating ambient temperature was shown the temperature of infinite atmosphere.
In recent years, it is difficult to decide an operating ambient temperature under the influence of self-heating and heat dissipation, because the high density mounting, the miniaturization, and sealing and the like have trended to make products.
Therefore, we define the operating ambient temperature is a surface temperature of a part not be affected the heat in the vicinity of IC. (Example: a surface temperature of connector around IC)

The operating ambient temperature is called a operating temperature or an ambient temperature.

The operating ambient temperature is not same as an IC die, a surface or an each terminal temperature of IC.
